Palo Alto's former entry-level certification covering cybersecurity fundamentals, the Palo Alto platform, and core security concepts. Retired on January 31, 2025 along with PCNSA and PCSFE in the move to a role-based certification framework; certifications already earned stay valid for two years from their issue date. The entry level is now covered by the Cybersecurity Apprentice ($150) and Cybersecurity Practitioner certifications.

How much does PCCET cost?
The exam can no longer be purchased. Before its January 31, 2025 retirement it cost $150. Its entry-level successor, the Cybersecurity Apprentice, also costs $150.
Is PCCET still available?
No. PCCET was retired on January 31, 2025, together with PCNSA and PCSFE, as Palo Alto moved to a role-based certification framework. Certifications already earned remain valid for two years from their issue date. The Cybersecurity Apprentice and Cybersecurity Practitioner now cover the entry level.
